Die Idee hinter der Serie ist es den Mehrwert und die Schönheit von analogen Fotos im Zeitalter der Digitalisierung aufzuzeigen. Gefunden werden die historischen Aufnahmen auf Flohmärkten oder in verstaubten Büchern. Mit Pinsel und Tusche werden die Fotos vervollständigt und auf Fundstücke collagiert, welche beim wandern oder spaziergehen gefunden werden.
